Q. How much does a website cost?
The cost of designing a website depends on:
- How many pages you require?
- What is on each page? Pictures, animation, text? An online shop?
- Do you need to be able to update the information on your website by yourself?
- Do you want a Flash based website, a HTML site or both?
- Do you need any custom built applications on your site?
- Will you supply the photographs for your site?
- Is there video content on your site? What about music?
- Do you want to be number one in Google?
- Etc...

Q. I want to be number one in Google, can you help?
Yes we can help. We can make sure your website is optimised for search engines and we can help you decide on an online search engine plan. This will almost always improve your search engine rankings. However, no one (and we mean no one) can guarantee you the number one position in Google.
Q. How will I update my site?
If you think you will only make a small number of adjustments each year, we recommend that you send us the content and we will update your website. If however you require larger or many frequent updates, we can give you access to a Content Management System (CMS) that will let you carry out the changes yourself.
Q. "My friend says she can make me a cheap website, why would I choose you over her?"
Here are some things to consider when choosing an amateur before a professional:
- Can an amateur build your site so that it shows up high in Google / Bing / Yahoo search results?
- If the finished website looks like it was done by an amateur, your business may come across as cheap and unprofessional.
- Will this person be available when you need to make updates with little notice?
- If something goes wrong, will they know how to fix it?
- There are many different types of web browsers, computers and computer monitors on the market nowadays. Will an amateur have the skills to make your website work on each and every combination?
- If you want to upgrade your site, add an online shop or maybe a Content Management System. Will an amateur have the time and experience to do this? If you have to hire a professional to work on a website developed by an amateur it can cost more in the long run.
